After a whole year of hard work, constant testing of prototypes and with comparative testing against other Bow kites as well, we feel we now have a product to be totally proud of and one we are proud to put the Hiss-Tec name too.... The Riot is born......

The Riot is a powerful, but yet easy to handle, real Bow kite with a concave trailing edge and made to the original patent specification.

This is the difference to other bows:

Efficiency

The Riot is more efficient due to total utilisation of the projected surface area.
A 9 metre can handle about 4 wind forces. Therefore it can give the rider the same running and jumping ability as a 12 metre while being able to work well with the higher winds and gusts common to an 8 metre. The area of application of the Riot was shifted downwards by the use of new profileing and the intelligent conversion of the effective projected surface. In layman's terms this means the kite needs less area to produce power, which in turn helps handling and rids the Riot of the typical Bow disadvantages.

Security: only with five lines

The Riot utilises a tried and tested five line system, making it leashed and totally safe, unlike other Bows that we have to give wide berths too.
The trimable 5th line, that only releases at the push of a button, makes relaunching safe and easy without swimming and eliminating the problems of dangerous tangling.

Zero handling and steering forces

The Riot has very low steering and handling forces, that have been achieved by constant fine-tuning of the outline and profile.

Full force development

The Riot has been refined to develop huge power to facilitate unbelievable jumping, not normally common in Bows.

More direct handling than ever before

The Riot steers and feels very direct, with total feed back from the kite, letting the rider know exactly where the kite is at all times, this is again not normally common in Bows, and has been achieved, amongst other things, by the use of very expensive low stretch bridle line, which is commonly used in high-tech paragliders.

Fast-Pump-System

The Riot is equipped with an already tried and tested, low maintenance one pump system. This makes life easy and minimises time spent on the beach pumping.
